Eligibility: The crossword is open to all Tuoi Tre Newspaper’s readers, excluding the staff, employees and reporters of Tuoi Tre, and those of the sponsor.
Duration: Entry is open from now to 11:59pm, February 16, 2012.
How to enter
Contest entrants visit the website http://www.tuoitrenews.vn/cmlink/tuoitrenews/game/ , select the Cultural Mosaic crossword, and click Sign up to create an account (free of charge) with correct information as requested in the registration form. Each ID number, passport, and email is eligible for only ONE account.
For any further information, please send your question to ttn@tuoitre.com.vn with the subject title “Queries on Cultural Mosaic Crossword 2012.”
How the game is played
This is an English crossword about Vietnamese culture, with 10 clues to help the entrants think their ways through the answers.
Entrants fill each square on the crossword board with a letter of the word they think is the correct answer.
Should entrants have second thoughts on any of the answers they have made, they can click on the Redo button to revise their choice.
Once entrants have completed the crossword, they will click the Finish button to submit their entry.
There is no time limit on the crossword, so entrants are recommended to carefully complete it, since they are only able to solve the crossword once with one single account.
The list of ten latest entrants is displayed in the column on the right.
How scores are calculated
The highest score that can be achieved is 10. Ten (10) entrants with the highest scores will be declared the winners.
Each winner will be awarded a cash prize worth VND1 million (one million Vietnamese dong).
The answer key is announced on www.tuoitrenews.vn one day after the crossword’s submission of entry is closed.
In case the number of entrants achieving the highest score exceeds the number of prizes, the Organizing Board will draw lots to choose the 10 luckiest winners.
The Organizing Board makes the final decision, which is not subject to any complaints or appeals from entrants.
Other Information
All personal information relating to the entrants will be kept confidential.
The Organizing Board is not responsible for any mistakes made by the entrants while attempting to answer the questions.
Information regarding the crossword, especially the list of winners, and how to claim the prizes, will be published on Tuoi Tre daily newspaper, and the websites tuoitrenews.vn, m.tuoitre.vn, and tuoitre.vn.
The list of winners will also be emailed to entrants via the email address they provided during the registration process.
Winners can receive their cash prize at Tuoi Tre’s office. Or they can email ttn@tuoitre.com.vn if they want their cash prize to be transferred to their bank account or to receive it at the local post office.
Winners are expected to keep themselves posted with Tuoi Tre’s announcement of the list of winners. The Organizing Board is not to be held responsible for any failure to claim the prize for not following the announcement.
Any winners fail to claim the prizes within one month after the prize-giving ceremony at Tuoi Tre’s office, all the unclaimed prizes will be deposited into Tuoi Tre’s funds.
The Organizing Board makes the final decision, which is not subject to any complaints or appeals from entrants.

Đối tượng dự thi: Tất cả bạn đọc của báo Tuổi Trẻ (ngoại trừ cán bộ công nhân viên của đơn vị tài trợ Eximbank và báo Tuổi Trẻ).
Thời gian nhận đáp án: từ nay đến hết ngày 16-2-2012.
Cách thức tổ chức:
Để dự thi, bạn đọc truy cập vào trang http://www.tuoitrenews.vn/cmlink/tuoitrenews/game/, chọn Cultural Mosaic, sau đó chọn Sign up và nhập các thông tin cá nhân cần thiết (yêu cầu khai báo chính xác, đầy đủ) để đăng ký tài khoản (hoàn toàn miễn phí). Mỗi CMND hoặc passsport chỉ được đăng ký 1 tài khoản.
Mọi trường hợp thắc mắc vui lòng gửi email đến địa chỉ: . ttn@tuoitre.com.vn, tiêu đề ghi Thi Cultural Mosaic 2012.
Cách thức chơi:
Đây là trò chơi Ô chữ bằng tiếng Anh có 10 câu gợi ý liên quan văn hóa Việt nam. Người chơi phải chọn được đáp án đúng bằng cách điền vào mỗi ô một chữ cái. Nếu làm xong 1 câu và cảm thấy nghi ngờ về đáp án của mình, người chơi có thể quay ngược lại (nhấn vào thanh Redo) để làm lại. Sau khi hoàn tất bài giải, người chơi nhấn nút .
Cuộc chơi không giới hạn về thời gian vì vậy người chơi cần làm cẩn thận vì mỗi người chỉ được một lần tham gia giải đáp với tài khoản của mình.
Bên cột phải thể hiện 10 người chơi mới nhất.
Cách thức chấm giải:
Tổng số điểm là 10 trong trò chơi. Những người thắng giải là những người đạt số điểm cao nhất.
Giải đáp chính thức của trò chơi được công bố một ngày sau khi kết thúc thời gian nhận kết quả trò chơi.
Nếu số người chơi đạt điểm cao nhất nhiều hơn số giải thưởng thì Ban Tổ chức (BTC) sẽ tiến hành bốc thăm để chọn người may mắn trúng giải.
Quyết định của BTC là quyết định cuối cùng và không được khiếu kiện.
Các điều khoản có liên quan đến quyết định của BTC:
BTC đảm bảo bảo mật các thông tin cá nhân của người chơi.
BTC không chịu trách nhiệm về mọi sơ sót trong các câu trả lời do lỗi từ phía người dự thi.
Những thông tin về cuộc thi, đặc biệt danh sách trúng thưởng và cách thức nhận thưởng sẽ được đăng trên báo Tuổi Trẻ và trang tuoitrenews.vn, trang tuoitre.vn;
Người chiến thắng sẽ được thông báo qua email mà họ đã đăng ký. Giải thưởng bằng tiền mặt có thể được gửi đến người trúng giải (theo yêu cầu qua email ttn@tuoitre.com.vn) qua tài khoản hoặc bưu điện nếu người trúng giải không có điều kiện trực tiếp đến nhận giải thưởng.
Người dự thi có trách nhiệm theo dõi các thông tin trên. BTC không chịu trách nhiệm về mọi trường hợp không nhận được giải do không theo dõi được danh sách trúng giải.
Quá thời hạn nhận giải (1 tháng sau thời điểm lễ phát giải tại tòa soạn Tuổi Trẻ), toàn bộ những giải thưởng chưa nhận sẽ được sung vào công quỹ.
Quyết định của BTC là quyết định cuối cùng và không được khiếu kiện.
Giải thưởng: 10 giải đồng hạng, mỗi giải trị giá 1.000.000 VND (một triệu đồng VN)
