Japanese rapper to enthrall Vietnam

Japanese rapper and R&B singer Coma-Chi will perform in Hanoi and Hoi An this week.

During her tour organized by the Club for Arts and Music Appreciation in collaboration with the Japan Foundation, the 25-year-old artist will give a performance in Hanoi on August 23 and other similar shows in Hoi An on August 25 and 26.

Known for her freestyle street rapping, Coma - Chi made her debut in 2006 with the release of her album, “Day Before Blue” which was influenced by 1990s hip hop, and then continued to release “Red Naked” in 2009 and “ Beauty or the Beast” and 2010 .

Lately, she founded her own management company, Queen’s Room, with the desire to be free to make her music.

The show in Hanoi will take place at 9pm at CAMA ATK at 73 Mai Hac De Street. Tickets cost VND50,000 for general public and free for students.
