Magnificent firework displays will light up the skies in Hanoi in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Vietnamese capital’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954-2024), according to an announcement released by the municipal administration on Tuesday.

City dwellers can enjoy the dazzling pyrotechnic shows across six locations in Hoan Kiem District, Tay Ho District, Nam Tu Liem District, Hai Ba Trung District, Ha Dong District, and Son Tay Town.

Each display will last from 9:00 pm to 9:15 pm on October 10 this year.

The capital city is set to use 4,200 mortar tubes for high-altitude displays and 630 tubes for low-altitude ones.
